A FURTHER five people across Hampshire have died after testing positive for coronavirus.
Figures released by the NHS show that 480 people across the county have died after testing positive for Covid-19 - up from 475 yesterday.
Statistics cover University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS), Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
At UHS, 146 people have died who tested positive for the virus, up by two deaths in 24 hours as of Friday.
While 127 people have lost their lives at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which has stayed the same for the last in 24 hours.
At Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, 192 people have died after contracting the virus, up by three since yesterday.
A total of 15 people have died at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust which has not risen in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, coronavirus deaths in hospitals in England have gone up by 370 as rates continue to slow.
