NINE more people who have tested positive for coronavirus in Hampshire have died in the last 24 hours.
Figures from the NHS released today have revealed that nine more people have died across the county - it brings the total to 505 up from 496 yesterday.
The statistics cover University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS), Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
At UHS, 151 patients have died who tested positive for the virus, up by two as of yesterday.
At Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, 140 people have died with five more recorded deaths since Tuesday.
In total, 199 people have died at Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust after contracting the virus, an increase of two in the last 24 hours.
There have been no more coronavirus related deaths at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust where 15 people have died after testing positive for Covid-19.
The figure has remained the same since May 1.
