A FURTHER four people who have tested positive for coronavirus have died in Hampshire in the last 24 hours.
The NHS has released updated figures which revealed that four people have died across the county - it brings the total to 509 up from 505 on Wednesday.
The statistics cover University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS), Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
At UHS, 155 patients have died who tested positive for the virus, up by four since April 6.
At Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, 140 people have died with no new deaths since Tuesday.
In total, 199 people have died at Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust after contracting the virus, with no change since Wednesday.
There have been no more coronavirus related deaths at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust where 15 people have died after testing positive for Covid-19.
This figure has remained the same since May 1.
