A MAN has been arrested for drug-driving in Southampton.
Police were following a vehicle in Woolston which had a “noticeable waft” coming from it at around 1am on Thursday.
After flagging it down in Manor Road South all four occupants were found in possession of cannabis.
The driver - a man in his 20s - was arrested after providing a positive drug test, however, was released under investigation.
A police spokesperson said: “A man in his 20s was arrested after a vehicle was stopped in Manor Road South around 1am this morning (June 18). He was arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a drug above the specified limit and possession of a controlled drug of class B.”
