A HEALTH Centre was forced to close today after a flood on the first floor spread throughout the surgery.
Eastleigh Health Centre on Newtown Road was forced to close this morning after a water cooler on the first floor leaked and flooded the ground floor.
Health bosses say the service can still be accessed online or by telephone and the aim is to reopen the Health Centre on Monday July 6.
Rachael King, Director of Commissioning South West, NHS West Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group, said: “Eastleigh Health Centre is closed today (Friday 3 July) due to flooding on the first floor which spread to the ground floor.
"This has resulted in the temporary closure of the building. Patients registered with Archers and Parkside Practices located in the Health Centre should continue to access services in the normal way, either by telephone or online. The aim is to reopen Eastleigh Health Centre on Monday 6 July."
