A "HABITUAL THIEF" has been banned from a Hampshire borough for nine months.
James Vincent Durber has been banned from Fareham for the next nine months.
The 36-year-old raided Boots in Westbury Mall.
He stole perfume with a total value of £300 on June 19 and June 21 this year.
Durber, of no fixed address also stole a bicycle worth £250 from West Street on June 21.
The very next day he damaged a CCTV camera in Windermere Avenue.
He appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court on Wednesday where he pleaded guilty to the charges against him.
The same day he was handed a nine-month community order with a ten-day rehabilitation activity requirement.
An exclusion order means he must not enter the borough of Fareham for nine months.
He was ordered to pay £200 compensation to the owner of the stolen bike.
