A MAN who posted naked pictures of a woman and previously threatened to infect police officers with coronavirus has been jailed.
Adam Bray smashed his victim's car and posted a naked photo of her online.
The woman heard a smash outside her home and saw him throw something at her Volkswagen Golf on July 11 this year, a court heard.
She called the police and posted a photo of the damaged car on messaging app Snapchat.
Bray, 33, then threatened he would post naked images of her online and burn her mothers' car if she didn't take down the photo.
He hacked her social media account and posted an intimate photo for her friends to see - it was online for about twenty minutes.
Bray, of Barton Court Road, New Milton was arrested that day and denied committing the offences.
He appeared before Southampton Crown Court on Monday facing charges of criminal damage and disclosing a private sexual photograph without consent and with the intention of causing distress.
He pleaded guilty to both charges.
A statement read out in court said how his victim suffers from anxiety and the event has "played on her mind".
Furthermore, she feels a great deal of embarrassment.
Prosecuting barrister, Victoria Hill told the court how Bray has 38 convictions for 99 offences.
These include criminal damage, public disorder, GBH, ABH, assaulting an emergency, possession of a knife and harassment.
On April 4, he targeted the same woman by smashing a window at her home with a vodka bottle.
Then on April 12, at Southampton Central Police Station he hurled homophobic abuse and threatened to spread coronavirus to two officers.
For this, he was given a 26 week sentence suspended for two years.
Defending Keely Harvey said how Bray wanted to express to the court and his victim his deep regret.
And, how he has hurt his victim and himself.
Bray's "main desire now is to put things right and move on with life and get some help", said Ms Harvey.
Judge Christopher Parker QC said: "The harm that you caused the victim caused her very serious distress."
Judge Parker described the woman as particularly vulnerable.
Bray was jailed for 20 months and given a restraining order not to contact his victim.
