A BURNING vehicle blocked a Hampshire motorway yesterday.
A fire ripped through a car on the eastbound lanes of the M27 between J8 near Bursledon and J9 near Park Gate.
Motorists were warned of a five-mile queue and 25-minute delays.
Lane three of the motorway has was reopened and traffic is moving "very slowly".
Delays of around 20-minutes were also on West End Road, Providence Hill, and Bridge Road between St John's Road and Swanwick Lane.
