SAINTS legend Matt Le Tissier has left his role as a long-serving pundit on Sky Sports show Soccer Saturday.
A report in The Sun claims Le Tissier, alongside fellow colleagues Charlie Nicholas and Phil Thompson, have been "given the boot" as Sky look to cut staff numbers.
And the 51-year-old has taken to Twitter to confirm his departure.
Enjoyed my time at sky sports, time to look forward to lifeβs next challenge, thank you for the support down the years and special thanks to the backroom team which include @CazzaEccles @CarlyBassett @tvtrevstats amongst many others, good luck all have a lovely day πππΌ

Le Tissier, Thompson and Nicholas have racked up nearly 50 years between them on the popular Saturday afternoon show but have reportedly all been axed following a meeting with Sky bosses today.
Le Tissier made more than 500 appearances for Saints during a 16-year stay from 1986 to 2002.
