A CANNABIS dealer was traced to his home address after fleeing from police.
A group of four youths were stopped by police after they spotted one of them "underage drinking".
When officers asked to search his backpack he fled from the scene at Abshot Community Centre in Kelsey Close, Park Gate.
Police found cash, scales and a small amount of cannabis - and "unfortunately for him" his home address.
After searching his home on Saturday, officers found "further money and cannabis in his bedroom".
A post on the Fareham Police Facebook page said: "We've been busy but for the bank holiday it has been quite quiet.
"Friday evening saw officers conduct patrols including Strawberry Fields, Seafields Park, Cams Alders, Abshott Community Centre & Wicor Rec. There were no real issues.
Saturday the same patrols were conducted, whilst at Wicor Rec we found a phone which we were able to reunite with its owner - a young boy who was very grateful and we were very happy to have been the ones to find it!
"At Abshott Community Centre a group of 4 youths were spoken to, one was seen to be underage drinking and when Officers asked to search his backpack he ran off - unfortunately for him he left the backpack containing his home address! Officers found cash in the bag along with scales and a small amount of cannabis. On attendance at his home address Officers found further money and cannabis in his bedroom."
