IT HAS been announced that the popular Santa's Grotto at a Hampshire amusement park will not run this year.
Paulton's Park in Ower, Romsey, said it will "not be possible" to run the festive grotto but hopes it can return in the future.
However families can still make a visit to the home of Peppa Pig world to celebrate Christmas, from November 21 to December 23.
Among the celebrations will be magical illuminations, Peppa and George in their seasonal outfits, Christmas characters, a brand new Christmas show featuring Father Christmas and selected rides and attractions, including the UK’s one and only Peppa Pig World and Lost Kingdom.
Visitors can also watch Frosty's Snowtime Show, Santa's Storytime, and see and hear the marvellous musical Christmas tree, with its own light show every 15 minutes.
Families can also meet Frosty the snowman and the Snow Princess, ride the Cat-O-Pillar coaster and Professor Blast’s Expedition Express at Critter Creek, catch up with meerkats and their friends in Little Africa, meet exotic birds and enjoy lakeside river walks and a historic Watermill.
Tickets for the festive event start from £29.50 and will be included in a standard admissions ticket. Buy tickets at https://paultonspark.co.uk/tickets.
Children under one metre can attend free. All tickets must be pre-booked online. Where dates are sold out, tickets will not be available to purchase on the date at the Park.
