A FURTHER 56 people have tested positive for coronavirus in Hampshire.
New figures from the Government published at just after 8.30pm last night have revealed that there have been a further 56 positive cases in the county in the 24 hours up to 4pm on Saturday, October 3.
It comes as testing for the virus increases.
In Southampton, there have been 14 new cases, bringing the total number of cases in the city up to total cases 1,181.
Eastleigh saw seven new cases, with a total number of 501 cases.
There were ten new cases recorded in the New Forest, bringing the total number up to 626 cases.
Seven new cases were recorded in Test Valley, with a total number of 617 positive cases.
Winchester saw 14 new cases recorded bringing the total up to 582.
In Fareham four new cases were recorded, total cases 378, and in Gosport there were no new cases recorded, leaving the total number standing at 272.
