TWO men have been arrested of suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving after a cyclist was seriously injured.
Police were called to Calmore just after 2pm yesterday following reports of a collision involving a cyclist a silver-coloured Skoda.
A police spokesman said: "The cyclist, a man in his 40s from Totton, was taken to hospital, having suffered serious injuries.
"A 21-year-old man from Holbury, 19-year-old man from Woodlands and 19-year-old man from Totton have each been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
"They have all been released under investigation.
"Officers investigating the exact circumstances of the collision are keen to speak with any witnesses."
The accident happened at the junction of Hill Street and the A36 Salisbury Road.
