MORE than 240 new positive cases have been recorded in Hampshire.
Public Health England figures - as recorded on the Government website - show that, as of 4pm yesterday, 241 more people have tested positive for the virus in a 24 hour period.
This brings the county's total to 9,398 confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic.
The figures come as testing increases across the county.
The health body is now including Pillar 2 tests – those carried out by commercial partners – alongside Pillar 1 tests, which are analysed in NHS or PHE laboratories and which made up the first stage of the Government's mass testing programme.
