CHILDREN have been told to self-isolate after a Southampton student has tested positive for coronavirus.
Harefield Primary School have issued a number of letters to parent's of children after one of their students tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday.
Students who have been in close contact with the affected child have been told to self-isolate.
The school remains open at this time.
In a letter to parents, the school said: "We have been made aware that we have a confirmed positive case of coronavirus (COVID-19) at Harefield Primary School.
"We have followed the national guidance and have identified that your child has been in close contact with the affected child.
"In line with the national guidance your child must stay at home and self-isolate until 14 days after contact.
"If your child is well at the end of the 14 days period of self-isolation, then they can return to usual activities."
