FIREFIGHTERS raced to tackle a blaze at a Hampshire supermarket last night.
Crews rushed to the Waitrose store in Hythe High Street after receiving an emergency call at around 8.30pm.
A television in the staff room had burst into flames due to an electrical fault, according to Hampshire Fire and Rescue Services.
Engines from Hythe, Hardley, Beaulieu and Redbridge Fire Stations were on the scene.
They used equipment to clear smoke and ventilate the building with the stop message coming in just before 9pm.
The store is open normal hours today.
