RECENT cases heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:

JASON KENNETH EVANS, 26,of Radcliffe Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assaulting emergency worker. Community order, £150 compensation order. Also pleaded guilty to second count of assaulting an emergency worker. Community order, £150 compensation order. Also pleaded guilty to criminal damage. Community order, £50 compensation order. Also pleaded guilty to possessing controlled drug. Community order.

EDWARD MICHAEL RICKARD, 45, of Coventry Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour. Committed to prison for 16 weeks, suspended for 18 months, £300 compensation order, £128 victim services surcharge, £85 costs.

COLIN RUSSELL, 66, The Hundred, Romsey. Pleaded guilty to attempting to communicate with girl under the age of 16 for purposes of sexual gratification. Community order, £500 fine, £85 costs and £85 victim services surcharge. Also made subject of sexual harm prevention order.

GRZEGORZ KRYSZTOT GLOWANIA, 40, of HMP Prison, Winchester. Found guilty of assault. Committed to prison for six months, £250 compensation, £100 costs. Also made subject of restraining order.

JODIE FITZGERALD, 35, of Harwood Close, Totton. Pleaded guilty to three counts of theft. Discharged conditionally for 18 months and ordered to pay £85 compensation. Ordered to pay court costs of £40.

ALISTAIR LITTLE, 40, of Marlborough Street, Andover. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Disqualified from driving for 19 months and fined £761. Ordered to pay victim surcharge of £76 and court costs of £85.

GENTI DEMIRI, 30, of Firmstone Road, Winchester. Pleaded guilty to drink driving and driving without insurance. Disqualified from driving for 15 months and fined £120. Ordered to pay victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85.

THOMAS EDWARD HUGHES, 33, of Woodlands Road, Totton. Pleaded guilty to drug driving. Disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £120. Ordered to pay victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85.
