A COLLEGE has been made aware of four confirmed cases of Covid-19 amongst learners.
Staff at Eastleigh College were notified of the positive cases at midday today.
Based on the information supplied, there has been no transmission linked to attendance at the College according to staff.
Through seating and group plans the college says it has been able to quickly identify any learner who was in close proximity to the individuals.
As a result of this, two learner groups will switch to remote learning for a minimum period of one week.
A spokesperson for the college said: "We see this change as a proactive precaution.
"Like other educational institutions we continue to follow government guidance with regards to responding to any infection."
