IT seems like a lifetime ago since we have been able to socialise together - let alone parade on furniture with one another.
But let us think back to when we used to dance on the tables at the Frog and Frigate.
The venue, situated on Canute Road, is famous for its live music and its buccaneering made complete with a ships wheel behind the bar and storm lanterns hanging throughout.
The pub originally opened back in 1981 but closed in 2009.
After laying empty for six years, the popular nighttime spot was brought back to life by landlords Derek and Loraine Gardener.
Around 100 people joined the ticket-only relaunch party on March 5, 2015, where a bottle of Newcastle Brown was smashed to signify the dawn of a new era for the watering hole.
Lorraine told the Daily Echo at the time: “It's good to get up and running again.
“It's been full-on, we've had somebody who camped outside and people are still contacting us about it as they did not know it was reopening.”
