MORE than 660 new coronavirus cases have been recorded across Hampshire in the last 24 hours.
Public Health England figures - as recorded on the Government website at 4.40pm today (December 23) - show that 666 more people have tested positive for the virus in a 24 hour period.
The health body is now including Pillar 2 tests – those carried out by commercial partners – alongside Pillar 1 tests, which are analysed in NHS or PHE laboratories and which made up the first stage of the Government's mass testing programme.
Below are the confirmed cases by local authority in the 24 hours to 4.40pm on December 23:
- Basingstoke and Deane: 81 (3,215 in total since start of pandemic)
- East Hampshire: 32 (2,002)
- Eastleigh: 33 (2,017)
- Fareham: 23 (1,890)
- Gosport: 10 (1,457)
- Hart: 30 (1,432)
- Havant: 80 (2,791)
- New Forest: 26 (2,289)
- Portsmouth: 109 (6,068)
- Rushmoor: 83 (2,348)
- Southampton: 73 (4,994)
- Test Valley: 48 (1,898)
- Winchester: 30 (2,163)
