A MAN has been jailed following multiple domestic violence attacks.
Dalton David Callum Wills punched and kicked his female victim while she was on the ground, according to court documents.
The attacks on April 18 and April 25 in Outer Circle, Southampton caused "substantial bruising" to the woman.
Wills, 23, of Chettle Road, pleaded guilty to three counts of assault by beating.
By committing the offences he breached a suspended sentence he had previously been given for causing unnecessary suffering to a German Shepherd dog.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court on Tuesday he was jailed for nine weeks.
The offence was considered "serious because of the domestic context".
Wills has been made the subject of a restraining order and must not contact his victim for two years.
He must also pay a £128 victim surcharge.
