A FAMILY run takeaway business is supporting its community by giving away free meals this Christmas day.
Forest Tandoori Indian Takeaway in Lymington are giving away free Christmas meals to the elderly, vulnerable and anyone on a low income.
Staff say that they have already had an overwhelming response and are inviting people to get in touch if they are in need of one of these meals.
During lockdown the takeaway also donated over £500 worth of free food to New Forest Lymington Hospital staff and over 100 free meals to both Balmoral Care Home and St John’s Ambulance service in Lymington.
It also recently won a prestige award at the Good Food Awards 2021.
People who want to order one of the free meals can do so through facebook, phone or email before or on Christmas Day.
