HAMPSHIRE has now been placed under the toughest coronavirus restrictions.

Except for the New Forest, the county is now in Tier 4 and residents are being told to stay at home.

The Daily Echo has put together a list of the places in Hampshire with the highest and the lowest number of cases.

The data was taken from GOV.UK which uses Public Health England data to show how many people have tested positive for the virus in each area of the county over the seven-day period up to Sunday, December 20.

Public Health England breaks down the numbers of coronavirus cases into neighbourhoods called 'Middle Super Output Areas' (MSOAs), which are smaller than council wards and based on population rather than geographical area.
