A HAMPSHIRE zoo has been allowed to partially reopen despite being in a Tier 4 area.
Marwell Zoo, in Colden Common reopened on Sunday to the public.
Zoo staff were "delighted" after the UK Government announced that outdoor areas of zoos in Tier 4 can remain open.
However, all of its indoor animal houses are temporarily closed and catering outlets are serving takeaway only until restrictions are lifted.
All visitors must book online in advance of their visit.
A spokesperson for the zoo said: "Please make sure you read our Guest Guidance and full FAQs ahead of your visit so when you arrive, you can focus on having a great day out."
