A TOTAL of 18 deaths have been recorded across Hampshire in the last 24 hours.
Figures published by NHS England at 2pm today (January 7) have revealed that a further 18 coronavirus patients have died in 24 hours.
This brings the county's overall total up to 1,011 deaths since the start of the pandemic in March.
Three deaths were recorded at University Hospital Southampton, bringing the Trust's total up to 263.
Fifteen further deaths were recorded at Portsmouth Hospitals Trust in the last 24 hours, bringing the Trust's total up to 466.
No other deaths were recorded at any of the county's other Trusts.
Hampshire Hospitals Trust remains at a total of 253 deaths since the start of the pandemic, with Southern Health Trust at 25 deaths, with the figure for the Solent NHS Trust also staying at four.
