A FURTHER 28 new coronavirus deaths have been recorded across Hampshire in a 24-hour period.
Figures published by NHS England yesterday (January 12) have revealed that a further 28 coronavirus patients have died in 24 hours.
This brings the county's overall total up to 1,110 deaths since the start of the pandemic in March.
A further 14 deaths were recorded at Portsmouth Hospitals Trust in the last 24 hours, bringing the Trust's total up to 515.
At Hampshire Hospitals Trust, eight more deaths were recorded in 24 hours, bringing the total number up to 281 deaths.
At University Hospital Southampton, there were five new deaths recorded bringing to total to 283 deaths since the start of the pandemic.
One more death wasrecorded at Southern Health Trust, which has now seen 30 deaths.
No other deaths were recorded at any of the county's other Trusts.
Solent NHS Trust remains at 4 deaths.
