A TOTAL of 30 deaths have been recorded across Hampshire in a 24-hour period.
Figures published by NHS England today (January 19) have revealed that a further 30 coronavirus patients have died in 24 hours.
This brings the county's overall total up to 1,278 deaths since the start of the pandemic in March.
A further 12 deaths were recorded at Portsmouth Hospitals Trust in the last 24 hours, bringing the Trust's total up to 605.
At University Hospital Southampton, there were 11 new deaths recorded bringing to total to 322 deaths since the start of the pandemic.
At Hampshire Hospitals Trust, five more deaths were recorded in 24 hours, bringing the total number up to 313 deaths.
One death was recorded at Southern Health Trust, bringing to total to 33, and a further death was recorded at Solent NHS Trust, bringing the total to five.
