A MAJOR Southampton road was blocked following a two-vehicle traffic accident earlier today.
The inside lane of the Redbridge flyover was blocked following a collision involving two vehicles at around 1.30pm
The incident affected the outbound route with motorists urged to approach with caution.
One person suffered minor injuries, according to police.
The road has since reopened.
A police spokesperson said: "We have received a report of a collision involving two vehicles on the westbound carriageway of the Redbridge flyover, near the traffic lights. One person has reported minor injuries, traffic is able to pass."
