A HAMPSHIRE school has been forced to close after a number of staff tested positive for coronavirus.
Otterbourne Church Of England Primary School on Main Road in Otterbourne, Winchester, has closed today after a number of staff tested positive for the virus this weekend.
The school has been closed due to "insufficient staff to keep the school open safely".
The school has said it will review the situation daily and online learning is being provided to all children.
A statement from the school reads: "Sadly, due to a number of positive staff Covid results over the weekend, we have insufficient staff to keep the school open safely tomorrow.
"We will review this daily throughout the week.
"Online learning will be provided to all children.
"This will be through Tapestry (Year R) or Google Classroom.
"This will contain a mixture of live lessons and recorded videos. In some cases, the learning will be through Oak Academy or BBC Bitesize particularly if a member of staff is sick.
