A MAN has been found dead on a railway line in Hampshire.
South Western Railway said on Saturday night to say emergency services were alerted to an incident between Eastleigh and Romsey.
British Transport Police said officers were called to the line at 10.03pm following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
Now, BTP has confirmed paramedics attended the casualty, but a man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
BTP stressed the incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
