MORE than 110 new positive cases have been recorded in Hampshire over the last 24 hours.
Public Health England figures - as recorded on the Government website - show that, as of 4pm today, 118 more people have tested positive for the virus in a 24 hour period.
This brings the county's total to 89,140 cases since the start of the pandemic - around 6.47 per cent of Hampshire's population.
Below are the confirmed cases by local authority in the 24 hours on March 8:
- Basingstoke and Deane: 10 (7,933 in total since start of pandemic)
- East Hampshire: 4 (4,730)
- Eastleigh: 7 (5,541)
- Fareham: 9 (5,080)
- Gosport: 7 (3,737)
- Hart: 1 (4,173)
- Havant: 8 (6,866)
- New Forest: 6 (5,958)
- Portsmouth: 32 (13,874)
- Rushmoor: 8 (7,601)
- Southampton: 19 (13,734)
- Test Valley: 5 (5,155)
- Winchester: 2 (4,758)
