THESE are the areas of Southampton which are recording the highest amount of weekly Covid-19 cases, according to an interactive Government map.
The latest data from Public Health England shows that there are five areas within the city which have reported 10 or more new cases in the seven days to March 3.
The areas, detailed further below, are: Freemantle, Maybush, Newtown and Nicholstown, Upper Shirley, and Woolston

For reference, the map is divided into Middle Super Output Areas (MSOAs), which are areas with an average population of 7,200.
It then colour-codes MSOAs depending on their seven day rolling infection rate, with areas placed into the boundaries of 0-9 (yellow), 10-49 (light green), 50-99 (dark green), 100-199 (light blue), 200-399 (dark blue), 400 to 799 (light purple) and 800 plus (dark purple).
Freemantle
The area has recorded 10 new cases in the seven days to March 3, down six (-37.5%)
Maybush
The area has recorded 10 new cases in the seven days to March 3, up three (42.9%)
Newtown and Nicholstown
The area has recorded 11 new cases in the seven days to March 3, down 26 (-70.3%)
Upper Shirley
The area has recorded 10 new cases in the seven days to March 3, down two (-16.7%)
Woolston
The area has recorded 11 new cases in the seven days to March 3, down 3 (-21.4%)
