ALMOST 100 new positive cases have been recorded in Hampshire over the last 24 hours.
Public Health England figures - as recorded on the Government website - show that, as of 4pm today, 99 more people have tested positive for the virus in a 24 hour period.
This brings the county's total to 89,239 cases since the start of the pandemic.
Below are the confirmed cases by local authority in the 24 hours on March 9:
- Basingstoke and Deane: 4 (7,937 in total since start of pandemic)
- East Hampshire: 4 (4,734)
- Eastleigh: 12 (5,553)
- Fareham: 7 (5,087)
- Gosport: 2 (3,739)
- Hart: 1 (4,174)
- Havant: 5 (6,871)
- New Forest: 3 (5,961)
- Portsmouth: 19 (13,893)
- Rushmoor: 5 (7,606)
- Southampton: 26 (13,760)
- Test Valley: 6 (5,161)
- Winchester: 5 (4,763)
