Last year when the coronavirus had seriously started to affect the country the government introduced the lockdowns, which included all but the essential service and businesses.

Also all sport, including professional football.

When the second tier of the more virulent virus cam along the Government obviously had to reintroduce the full lockdown again, this time imposing the penalties through the local authorities more strictly for social gatherings and non-distancing offences.

But, rather strangely, this time there was no ban on professional football as before, why?

When watching the matches on television all the rules at blatantly broken through the nature of the game.

Watch the jostling and pushing going on in the goalmouth area when a corner kick is taken.

Watch the hugging and embracing when a goal is scored.

The teams plus substitutes and staff arrive and depart on their coaches (no distancing again).

The players have to dress and undress in their changing rooms and this also included after match showers.

They then journey home to their families quite possibly taking the virus with them.
