I understand that e-scooters are to be allowed on The Common.

Under the bylaws motorised vehicles are not allowed on The Common.

It is all very well saying that the e-scooters can only go on certain

paths, not diverge, and not exceed a certain speed. They can still be

intimidating to pedestrians and dangerous to children.

I understand that the e-scooters are not supposed to go on the pavement

or footway.

As they are motorised, there can be no hardship for the e-scooters to be

confined to the carriageway, the road.
