MORE than 140 new positive cases have been recorded in Hampshire over the last 24 hours.
Public Health England figures - as recorded on the Government website - show that, as of 4pm today, 143 more people have tested positive for the virus in a 24 hour period.
Yesterday, 142 new cases were recorded.
This brings the county's total to 89,769 cases since the start of the pandemic - around 6.52 per cent of the county's population.
Below are the confirmed cases by local authority in the 24 hours on March 13:
- Basingstoke and Deane: 13 (7,981 in total since start of pandemic)
- East Hampshire: 3 (4,758)
- Eastleigh: 12 (5,596)
- Fareham: 9 (5,119)
- Gosport: 7 (3,761)
- Hart: 11 (4,197)
- Havant: 4 (6,896)
- New Forest: 3 (5,991)
- Portsmouth: 20 (13,953)
- Rushmoor: 2 (7,622)
- Southampton: 46 (13,912)
- Test Valley: 8 (5,189)
- Winchester: 5 (4,794)
