MORE than 70 new positive cases have been recorded in Hampshire over the last 24 hours.
Public Health England figures - as recorded on the Government website - show that, as of 4pm today, 77 more people have tested positive for the virus in a 24 hour period.
Yesterday, 143 new cases were recorded.
This brings the county's total to 89,846 cases since the start of the pandemic - around 6.52 per cent of the county's population.
Below are the confirmed cases by local authority in the 24 hours on March 14:
- Basingstoke and Deane: 5 (7,986 in total since start of pandemic)
- East Hampshire: 9 (4,767)
- Eastleigh: 9 (5,605)
- Fareham: 2 (5,121)
- Gosport: 1 (3,762)
- Hart: 3 (4,200)
- Havant: 4 (6,900)
- New Forest: 5 (5,996)
- Portsmouth: 6 (13,959)
- Rushmoor: 1 (7,623)
- Southampton: 21 (13,933)
- Test Valley: 3 (5,192)
- Winchester: 8 (4,802)
