A GROUP of Travellers have set up a camp in a Hampshire railway station carpark.
The encampment has been set up in the carpark of Hedge End Railway Station, and residents have said they have been there "for days".
Eastleigh Borough Council, who own the carpark, and South Western Railway have said they are aware of the situation.
Officers from the council have visited the site and have requested the group to leave the area.
A council spokesperson said: “The council is aware of an unauthorised encampment on Hedge End Railway Station car park.
"Council officers have already visited the encampment and requested that the travellers leave the site.
"We are continuing to monitor the situation and the council is now following its normal procedure for dealing with unauthorised encampments.”
