MORE than 750,000 Covid vaccine doses have been administered across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
Figures released by NHS England report that up to Sunday, March 14, a total of 768,611 vaccination doses had been given out across the county and island.
This total means the region has delivered the fifth most jabs in the county, behind Cumbria and North East, Great Manchester, Cheshire and Merseyside, West Yorkshire and Harrogate.
In the seven days to March 14, 76,061 were administered across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
The NHS figures report that 48,689 residents in Hampshire and Isle of Wight have received both Covid vaccine doses.
This breaks down by age groups as:
- 32,487 people aged over 80
- 500 people aged 75 to 79
- 455 people aged 70 to 74
- 752 people aged 65 to 69
- 1,718 people aged 60 to 64
- 2,249 people aged 55 to 59
- 10,233 people aged under 55
Breaking down the figures across Hampshire, the Southampton Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has delivered 82,388 doses.
Fareham and Gosport CCG has given 93,074 doses, West Hampshire CCG has administered 252,015, North Hampshire CCG has provided 84,873, South Eastern Hampshire CCG has delivered 100,907 and Portsmouth CCG has dished out 77,233.
