A MANHUNT has been launched following a burglary in a New Forest town.

Two men broke into a house in Manor Road in New Milton stealing cash.

The burglary happened between 8.30pm and 9.30pm on Monday when the occupants were at home.

Police have now launched a witness appeal to help trace two men they want to speak to.

The first man is described as between 20 and 30-years-old, between five foot and eight inches and six-foot tall.

Of proportionate build, he was wearing a light coloured top and dark bottoms, a black beanie-style hat and a face mask.

The second man is of the same age and physical description.

However, he was wearing overalls, a dark coloured hat and a face mask.

Officers would like to speak to the two men pictured and who were seen in the area at the time.

A police spokesperson said: "We appreciate that the images are not the best quality, but they are the best we have available at this time.

"Were you in the area at the time? Maybe you saw or heard something that may assist our enquiries?"
