ROADWORKS are taking place across the city next week.
Below is a list of all the roadworks to be aware of if you are venturing onto the city's roads in the next seven days:
Bitterne Road East
Two-way Lights for three days for Toob high speed internet connections. (March 24 - March 26, 09:30 – 15:30)
Bursledon Road
Lane closure inbound between Gavan Street and Kathleen Road for emergency Gas replacement works. (February 10 – March 24)
Millbrook Road West (Service Road)
Full Closure of Millbrook Road West (Service Road) which will slip into a number of phases. (February 22 - June 21)
Works that will impact on the Main carriageway of Millbrook Road West will not come into play until March 8.

New Road
Closure overnight from Six Dials to East Park Terrace for Highway Surveys to be undertaken. (March 22 – March 26, 20:00 – 06:00)
Redbridge Causeway
Lane closures on the causeway 24/7 in both directions to assist with an emergency gas leak located on the north footway. (Due to be complete on morning of March 22)
St Deny’s Road
Temporary four-way lights at its junction with Belmont Road for signal upgrades. (March 22, 09:30 – 15:30)
Townhill Way
Two-way Temporary lights 24/7 at its junction with Vanguard Road for highway improvement works. Vanguard Road will be closed during construction. (March 15 - April 9)
