POLICE have issued an appeal of a man they would like to speak to after a young girl was bitten by a dog.
Officers are investigating the incident which led to the girl suffering minor injuries to her wrist.
The dog biting incident occured at around 5pm on Sunday, March 7, at around 5pm outside the One Stop convenience store on Hayling Avenue, Portsmouth.
The girl spotted the dog in the doorway of the shop and stroked it, but as she want to walk away, the dog grabbed hold of her wrist and bitten her. She suffered minor injuries as a result.
Hampshire Constabulary have released an image of a man they would like to speak with.
The force is also appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
