THREE people have been arrested on suspicion of money laundering after raids took place in Winchester this morning (Tuesday).
National Crime Agency (NCA) officers carried out a search of a property in Friary Gardens just before 9am.
A witness said that officers were then seen taking photos instead the property.
Following the search two men in their 30s were arrested – one at the property in Friary Gardens and another an address in Itchen Abbas.
A woman, also in her 30s, was arrested at an address in the Itchen area of Southampton.
An NCA spokesperson said: “We can confirm that NCA officers arrested two men in their 30s this morning - one at an address in Friary Gardens, Winchester and the other at a property in Itchen Abbas.
“A third individual, a woman also in her 30s, was arrested at an address in the Itchen area of Southampton.
“All three individuals were arrested on suspicion of money laundering offences and are currently being questioned by investigators.”
