A SOUTHAMPTON man died at home following a methadone overdose, an inquest heard.
Mark Julian Davies, 52, was found at his Bernard Street flat on October 10.
His mother had attended the property after becoming concerned for his welfare.
According to a post mortem report by Dr Vidhi Bhargava, the cause of death was aspiration pneumonia caused by a methadone overdose.
Area coroner Jason Pegg adjourned the full inquest to November 23.
