The car lover from Southampton, who watches Top Gear on repeat, owns a tuned BMW M4 F82.

He told the Daily Echo: “It was my first dream car. I never expected to own one, I just ended up getting one!

“This car was built from stock. It is very special and you won’t see any like it.”

Daniel enjoys driving so much that he once drove all the way to the Nurburgring race track in Germany, round it and then back, a round trip of nearly 1,000 miles.

He’s a big fan of track driving because it’s the only road with no speed limits that’s safe. His favourite road to drive otherwise would be somewhere in Wales.

Daniel is also a regular at car meets and particularly enjoys the Goodwood Festival of Speed, an annual hill climb featuring historic motor racing vehicles held in the grounds of Goodwood House, West Sussex, in late June or early July.

“I was actually a VIP years ago for the owners,” he says.

“I met (former racing driver) David Coulthard at the mansion (Goodwood House), so that’s got to be up there.”

Daniel has previously owned a Honda Civic Type R and Audi TT as well as various other high performance cars.

But next he’s got his eye on a McLaren.

“It’s my dream car because I wouldn’t have to spend lots of money on tuning it.

“Next I’ll probably get a kit car with a bike engine in! Or a McLaren if I can ever afford it.

He'd also consider going electric.

"If they sort the sound out, yes. Why not? You've got to move with the times!"

Daniel has always been passionate about cars and his M4 has even appeared in a special feature in BMW Performance Magazine following a photoshoot at Thruxton Circuit near Andover.
