THE line-up for this year’s Isle of Wight Festival has been unveiled.

Headline acts include Liam Gallagher on Friday, Snow Patrol and David Guetta on the Saturday with Duran Duran closing the festival on Sunday.

This year’s event will take place on the new dates of September 16 to 19.

Tom Jones and The Script, All Saints, Kaiser Chiefs, Lightning Seeds, Razorlight and Primal Scream also feature on the line-up.

Other acts announced include Becky Hill, Sam Fender, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Supergrass, Shed Seven, Scouting For Girls, You Me at Six, Imelda May, James, Maximo Park and Maisie Peters.

Festival promoter John Giddings said: “Our audience always has an incredible time at the festival and we’re thrilled with the line-up on offer for them.

"It’s a fantastic array of artists; from icons to emerging talent and not forgetting everything still to come from additional stages across the festival.

“Over the coming months we'll be watching and learning from the events taking place before us and, of course, liaising with all the relevant authorities to make sure everyone - audience, artists, staff, the community - is kept safe. See you in September!

Tickets for the Isle of Wight Festival cost £185 with or without camping, £145 for islanders, £170 for students and £165 for those aged between 13 and 17. Entry for children between six and 12 costs £5.
