Earlier in the week, police patrols were ramped up after an 11-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in Fryern Recreation Ground in nearby Chandler's Ford.

On Monday, a schoolgirl was walking through the park when she noticed a man sat on a bench.

The man, who was sat between the basketball court and play area approached her as she walked past and grabbed her upper thigh, over her clothing.

It is unknown whether the incidents are linked, however, the Daily Echo has asked Hampshire Constabulary for further information.
