A HAMPSHIRE man has been charged with attempted murder after a man reported being strangled and having a crossbow fired at him.
Officers were called to Hook just after 5pm yesterday to reports of a 55-year-old man having a crossbow fired at him and also reported being strangled.
He received minor injuries.
Dane Perry, 36, of King Johns Road in North Warnborough, has been charged and remanded with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
