THREE people have been reported for summons after a group of over 25 people gathered for a gender reveal party.
On March 21, police broke up a gender reveal party of over 25 people that was in breach of coronavirus restrictions near Portchester Castle.
It was said that none of the people were social distancing or wearing masks and when officers intervened, they became abusive.
Now, following an investigation, the organisers have been identified.
A 34-year-old man, a 29-year-old woman and a 54-year-old woman, all from Portsmouth, have been reported for summons in relation to fixed penalty notices for breaching the Health Protection Regulations.
A police spokesperson said: "At the time of this incident, the national restrictions made clear that people should not be meeting with anyone outside of their household or support bubble, either indoors or outdoors.
"We would like to remind everyone that we all need to play our part in adhering to the government restrictions in order to prevent the spread of Coronavirus. Those who flagrantly flout the law can expect to face robust enforcement action."
