A LIFEBOAT has comes to the rescue of a girl who fell ill on a secluded beach.
At around 11.20pm last night a Cowes RNLI Lifeboat was launched to go to the aid of a 16-year-old girl.
The girl had cystic fibrosis and had become ill on a secluded beach at Gurnard.
After being helped on to the lifeboat she was brought back to Trinity Landing where an ambulance was waiting to take her to hospital.
